Where does Fly To Fit document the specifications and standards for the franchise?
Fly_To_Fit Franchise · 2024 FDDAnswer from 2024 FDD Document
We issue specifications and standards to you for applicable aspects of the franchise in our Manual and/or in written directives. We may issue new specifications and standards for any aspect of our brand system, or modify existing specifications and standards, at any time by revising our Manual and/or issuing new written directives (which may be communicated to you by any method we choose). We will generally (but are not obligated to) issue new or revised specifications only after thorough testing in our headquarters, in company-owned outlets, and/or a limited market test in multiple units.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fly To Fit's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the specifications and standards for the franchise are documented in the brand's Manual and/or in written directives. Fly To Fit has the right to issue new specifications and standards for any aspect of their brand system, and they can modify existing specifications and standards at any time. These changes are made by revising the Manual or issuing new written directives, which can be communicated through any method Fly To Fit chooses.
Fly To Fit generally issues new or revised specifications after thorough testing at their headquarters, in company-owned outlets, and/or through limited market tests in multiple units. However, they are not obligated to do so. This means that franchisees must stay informed of updates to the Manual and any written directives from Fly To Fit to ensure compliance with the latest standards.
This approach is fairly standard in franchising, where franchisors maintain the right to update their operational standards to maintain brand consistency and adapt to market changes. However, the fact that Fly To Fit is not obligated to test new specifications before implementing them could present a risk for franchisees, as changes could potentially impact their operations or profitability without prior validation.
