What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fly To Fit's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, compliance with the Franchise Agreement is indeed a condition for opening a Fly To Fit business. Specifically, before opening their Fly To Fit business to the public, a franchisee must be in compliance with the Franchise Agreement. This requirement ensures that franchisees adhere to the standards and obligations set forth by Fly To Fit.
In addition to compliance with the Franchise Agreement, the franchisee must also fulfill several other conditions before opening. These include obtaining all applicable governmental permits and authorizations, ensuring the business conforms to all applicable System Standards, securing Fly To Fit's inspection and approval of the business, hiring a sufficient number of employees, and ensuring that all officers and employees complete the required pre-opening training. Furthermore, Fly To Fit must provide written approval to open the business, which, according to the FDD, will not be unreasonably withheld.
These conditions collectively aim to ensure that each Fly To Fit franchise operates according to the franchisor's standards and legal requirements from the outset. By meeting these requirements, franchisees can contribute to the overall consistency and quality of the Fly To Fit brand, while also protecting themselves from potential legal or operational issues. Franchisees should carefully review the Franchise Agreement and System Standards to fully understand their obligations and ensure they are met before opening their business.
