What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fly Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must submit a description of the site in writing, along with written certification that the site complies with Fly Fitness's site selection guidelines. Additionally, the franchisee must provide any other information and materials that Fly Fitness may reasonably require. These items must be submitted to Fly Fitness no later than three months after the execution of the Franchise Agreement.

Fly Fitness has the discretion to approve or disapprove the proposed site within fifteen business days after receiving the required information and materials. The FDD specifies that no site can be used for the Fly Fitness location unless Fly Fitness consents to it in writing.

This requirement ensures that all Fly Fitness locations meet the brand's standards and are likely to succeed. The franchisee bears the responsibility of finding a suitable location and providing all necessary documentation for approval within the specified timeframe. Failure to meet these requirements could result in delays or even a breach of the Franchise Agreement.
