What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fly Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, on-site remedial training is available under specific conditions. Fly Fitness will provide additional trained representatives to offer on-site new-hire or remedial training and assistance to a franchisee's personnel at the franchised business location. This service is available upon the franchisee's reasonable request for newly hired personnel or for other reasons deemed appropriate by Fly Fitness. The provision of this training is subject to the availability of Fly Fitness personnel.

However, this on-site training is not free. The franchisee is responsible for paying a per diem fee for the services of the trained representatives, at the rate then being charged to franchisees within the Fly Fitness system. In addition to the per diem fee, the franchisee must also cover the costs of travel, lodging, and meals for the representatives providing the training.

Fly Fitness also offers counseling and assistance to franchisees, either in person or via remote methods such as telephone, video conference, electronic mail, or postal service. This consultation and assistance, covering areas like employee training, marketing, and operational issues, is provided at no charge unless it is delivered on-site at the franchised business, in which case the terms of on-site remedial training apply.
