What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fly Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, remedial on-site training and assistance at a franchisee's premises is available upon request from the franchisee or if Fly Fitness determines it to be appropriate. However, this service is not free.
For any on-site remedial training, the franchisee is responsible for reimbursing Fly Fitness for all costs associated with the trainer's services. These costs include, but are not limited to, the trainer's per diem fee at the then-current rate and all travel-related expenses. Travel-related expenses cover transportation, meals, and lodging for the trainer.
This means that if a Fly Fitness franchisee is struggling with some aspect of the business, they can request additional help from the franchisor. However, unlike the initial on-site training provided at the opening of the franchise, this remedial training comes at a cost. The franchisee needs to factor in these potential expenses when budgeting for the ongoing operation of the Fly Fitness franchise. It is also important to note that the cost of the trainer's services can vary, as the per diem fee may change over time.
