After signing the Fly Fitness Disclosure Document receipt, what should be done with the two copies?

According to Fly Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, after receiving the Disclosure Document, a receipt in duplicate is attached as Exhibit I. The document states that you should sign both copies of the receipt. You should keep one copy for your own records and return the other signed copy to Jennifer Bruning Brown at 201 N. 13th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68508.

This process confirms that the prospective franchisee received the FDD and acknowledges the start of the legally mandated review period. Franchise regulations require franchisors to provide this document well in advance of any commitment from the franchisee.

By signing the receipt, the franchisee verifies they have received the document, but it does not obligate them to purchase a franchise. Returning the signed copy to Fly Fitness provides them with confirmation that the franchisee is aware of the opportunity and has begun their due diligence.
