What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fly Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fly Fitness may require franchisees to attend a national business meeting or annual convention. This attendance may be required for up to three days per year, at a location designated by Fly Fitness.
Fly Fitness reserves the right to impose a reasonable fee for the national business meeting or annual convention. This means that franchisees may need to budget for these fees in addition to the other costs of running the franchise.
Furthermore, franchisees are responsible for all incidental expenses incurred by them and their personnel in connection with attending Fly Fitness's national business meeting or annual convention. These expenses include, but are not limited to, the costs of travel, lodging, meals, and wages. This could represent a significant expense for franchisees, especially if they need to send multiple personnel to the meeting or convention.
