What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fly Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fly Fitness will provide a trainer for on-site training, supervision, and assistance with daily operations, local marketing, and the grand opening of your franchised business. This on-site training will last for up to five days, and there will be no additional cost to the franchisee for this service.
This on-site support is designed to help franchisees get their Fly Fitness studio off to a strong start. Having a trainer present during the initial days of operation can be invaluable for ensuring that staff are properly trained, operations run smoothly, and marketing efforts are effective. The trainer's assistance covers a range of critical areas, from daily operations to local marketing strategies, providing hands-on guidance during the crucial opening phase.
While the initial five days of on-site training are provided at no additional cost, franchisees should be aware that any subsequent on-site remedial training will incur costs. According to the FDD, franchisees must reimburse Fly Fitness for all costs associated with remedial on-site training, including the trainer's per diem fee and all travel-related expenses. Therefore, it is important for franchisees to utilize the initial training effectively and ensure their staff are well-prepared to minimize the need for additional support.
