What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fly Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial management training program consists of classroom and hands-on training that lasts for up to five days. This training is held at Fly Fitness's headquarters or another location at their discretion, or it may be conducted virtually.
The Fly Fitness franchisee, including all principals and the general manager (if applicable), must attend and complete the initial management training program to the franchisor's satisfaction before opening the franchised business. Fly Fitness does not charge for up to three people to attend this initial training. These individuals are referred to as "Initial Trainees."
However, the franchisee is responsible for covering all expenses for the Initial Trainees, including travel, lodging, meals, and wages. Fly Fitness also determines whether the initial trainees have satisfactorily completed the program and may terminate the franchise agreement if the training is not satisfactorily completed.
