What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fly Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must comply with any new or changed policies, standards, or directives that Fly Fitness implements. This requirement ensures that all Fly Fitness franchises operate under a consistent set of guidelines and standards, allowing Fly Fitness to maintain uniformity across all locations. The master copy of the manual maintained by Fly Fitness will be the controlling document in the event of any dispute about the manual's contents.
This obligation means that franchisees must stay informed about updates to the Fly Fitness operations manual and implement those changes in their business. This could involve changes to operational procedures, marketing strategies, or customer service protocols. Franchisees are responsible for ensuring their staff is also aware of and compliant with these changes.
Fly Fitness, at its discretion, may provide a physical copy of the manual if the franchisee loses, misplaces, or requests one. The franchisee is responsible for paying the then-current replacement fee for the manual. This policy ensures that franchisees have access to the most current information necessary to operate their Fly Fitness franchise in accordance with Fly Fitness standards.
