What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fly Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees or their principals may be required to participate in ongoing training for up to three days per year at a location designated by Fly Fitness. Additionally, they may be required to attend a national business meeting or annual convention for up to three days per year at a location Fly Fitness designates.
These additional training programs are not free, and Fly Fitness reserves the right to impose a reasonable fee for them. Franchisees are also responsible for any incidental expenses they incur while attending these training programs and conventions.
This means that franchisees should budget not only for the direct costs of training fees, but also for travel, accommodation, and other related expenses. It is important for prospective franchisees to inquire about the frequency, location, and estimated costs of these mandatory training programs to accurately assess the financial implications of the franchise.
