Can Fly Fitness conduct on-site inspections during the construction or remodeling of the Franchised Business?

During the time of construction or remodeling, Franchisee shall provide Franchisor, or its designated representative, with such periodic reports regarding the progress in obtaining all licenses and permits; and of the construction or remodeling as may be reasonably requested by Franchisor or its representative.
In addition, Franchisor or its representative may make such on-site inspections as it may deem reasonably necessary to evaluate such progress.
At least thirty (30) days prior to completion of the construction or remodeling, Franchisee shall notify Franchisor of the scheduled date for completion of construction or remodeling.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fly Fitness's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fly Fitness or its representative can conduct on-site inspections during the construction or remodeling phase of the Franchised Business. Specifically, Fly Fitness may make inspections it deems reasonably necessary to evaluate progress.
This means that as a Fly Fitness franchisee, you should expect Fly Fitness to monitor the construction or remodeling of your location to ensure it aligns with their standards and specifications. These inspections are intended to help ensure the location meets Fly Fitness's requirements before opening.
Furthermore, the franchisee is required to provide periodic reports regarding the progress in obtaining all licenses and permits, and of the construction or remodeling as may be reasonably requested by Fly Fitness or its representative. The franchisee must also notify Fly Fitness of the scheduled date for completion of construction or remodeling at least thirty (30) days prior to completion.
