Where might the pre-opening training for a Flowerama franchise take place?

According to Flowerama's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, pre-opening training for franchisees and one additional employee may occur at Flowerama's home office in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Training may also be conducted through a virtual communication platform. Flowerama retains the right, but not the obligation, to transfer the training to the location of the franchisee's Flowerama franchise.

Flowerama may also provide any or all portions of the initial training program and/or pre-opening on-site opening assistance remotely over a virtual communication platform. After a franchisee obtains their Flowerama Center location, but not later than 6 weeks before the opening of their Flowerama Center, Flowerama will train the franchisee and/or a person designated by them at their Cedar Falls, Iowa headquarters, their Cedar Falls area company-owned Flowerama Centers, through a virtual communication platform and/or the 1-800-Flowers headquarters in Jericho, New York.

For a prospective Flowerama franchisee, this means that they should be prepared to travel to Cedar Falls, Iowa, or Jericho, New York for training, or to participate in virtual training sessions. The franchisee should also inquire about the possibility of on-site training at their franchise location. It is important to note that Flowerama reserves the right to modify its training programs to accommodate the needs and/or experience of any individual trainee.
