If a Flowerama franchisee adds the Fruit Bouquets Program, what additional manual will they receive?

Upon securing a mutually accepted site, we will loan you one copy of or otherwise provide you with access to the Franchise Operations and Brand Standards Manual (the "Operations Manual") and the Fruit Bouquets Franchise Operations and Brand Standards Manual (the "Fruit Bouquets Manual"), if you add the Fruit Bouquets Program into your Center, and all other manuals (collectively, the "Manuals") that govern the operations of the Center to use during the term of the Franchise Agreement by hard copy, via the Intranet or other means of electronic communication. We may post some or all of the Manuals on a restricted website, intranet, or extranet to which you will have access. The Manuals contain our standard operational procedures, policies, rules and regulations with which you must comply. (Franchise Agreement, Section 14). The Operations Manual contains 336 pages (including appendices). The Fruit Bouquets Manual contains 383 pages (including appendices). The Fruit Bouquets Pricing Guide is provided on-line to all franchisees purchasing the Fruit Bouquets by 1-800-Flowers Program. You will be given the opportunity to review the Operations Manual and the Fruit Bouquets Manual, if you add a Fruit Bouquets Program into your Flowerama Center, before you sign your Franchise Agreement. Notwithstanding the requirements of the Manuals and the Fruit Bouquets Pricing Guide, you alone will exercise day-to-day control over all operations, activities and elements of your Flowerama Center, including over your employees. Under no circumstances will we do so or be deemed to do so. The various requirements, restrictions, prohibitions, specifications and procedures of the System with which you must comply under your Franchise Agreement and the Manuals do not directly or indirectly constitute, suggest, infer or imply that we control any aspect or element of the day-to-day operations of your Flowerama Center, but only constitute standards to which you must adhere when exercising your control over the day-to-day operations of your Flowerama Center consistent with our policies. According to Flowerama's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee adds the Fruit Bouquets Program to their Flowerama Center, they will receive the Fruit Bouquets Franchise Operations and Brand Standards Manual, referred to as the "Fruit Bouquets Manual." This manual contains the standards, operational procedures, policies, rules and regulations that govern the operations of the Fruit Bouquets Program. Flowerama may provide access to the manual in hard copy or electronically, such as via the Intranet.
The Fruit Bouquets Manual contains 383 pages, including appendices. Additionally, franchisees will receive the Fruit Bouquets Pricing Guide online. The franchisee will have the opportunity to review the Fruit Bouquets Manual before signing the Franchise Agreement.
While franchisees must comply with the guidelines in the Fruit Bouquets Manual and Pricing Guide, they retain day-to-day control over their Flowerama Center's operations, including employee management. The standards outlined in the manual serve as guidelines for maintaining consistency within the Flowerama brand, rather than direct control by Flowerama over daily operations.
