What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Flowerama's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the POS system is a crucial component of your business operations. Flowerama requires you to use the POS system as a cash register system to process sales and manage transactions. It also functions as a customer data system, allowing you to collect and manage customer information for marketing and customer service purposes.
Furthermore, the POS system serves as an inventory system, helping you track and manage your stock levels to ensure you have the right products available. It also operates as an employee payroll and time maintenance system, streamlining payroll processing and tracking employee hours. Additionally, the POS system is used as a wire service reconciliation system, which is important for reconciling transactions from wire services. Finally, it functions as a daily sales reporting system, providing you with essential data on your business performance.
Flowerama also has the right to access your daily sales information and requires you to transmit this data daily via fax, telephone, or dedicated electronic polling systems. This allows Flowerama to monitor sales trends and overall performance across the franchise network. The FDD specifies that all electronic systems installed at the Flowerama Center must permit Flowerama to poll sales information and electronically transmit and obtain data to and from the Center, ensuring seamless data exchange and oversight.
