What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Flowerama's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated cost to either purchase or lease the BloomNet POS System ranges from approximately $150 to $10,000. In addition to the initial cost, Flowerama franchisees can expect to pay approximately $200 per month for lease, maintenance, upgrades, and updates related to the BloomNet POS System.
Flowerama reserves the right to specify or change the approved POS System that franchisees must use. Franchisees are required to upgrade their POS System upon 90 days' notice from Flowerama, but not more frequently than every three years during the term of the Franchise Agreement. Start-up franchises must purchase the POS System that Flowerama designates or approves.
The POS System must be used as a cash register, customer data, inventory, employee payroll and time maintenance, wire service reconciliation, and daily sales reporting system. Flowerama has the right to access daily sales information and requires franchisees to transmit this data daily via fax, telephone, or dedicated electronic polling systems. Franchisees must also enter into a BloomNet Technologies Systems Agreement to obtain a license to use software like BloomLink for fulfilling floral orders.
