How is the territory defined for a Floors To Go franchise if it is a radius?
Floors_To_Go Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
If your territory is defined as a radius, it will be measured from your approved Showroom. Otherwise, the boundaries of a territory are typically designated by streets or by the political boundaries of cities as they exist on the date the Membership Agreement is signed.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Floors To Go Franchise Disclosure Document, franchise territories are not exclusive and the territory will be officially identified in Schedule "A" of the Membership Agreement. Floors To Go determines the territory based on factors they deem relevant, such as population, traffic flow, the presence of businesses, the location of competitors (including other showrooms), demographics, and other market conditions. The franchisee must conduct business at the location designated in Schedule "A" of the Membership Agreement and in no other location.
If the Floors To Go territory is defined as a radius, the FDD states that it will be measured from the approved showroom location. Otherwise, the boundaries are typically designated by streets or the political boundaries of cities as they exist on the date the Membership Agreement is signed. The territory may be modified upon renewal or relocation of the franchise.
Floors To Go retains certain rights within a franchisee's territory. The company can operate or grant franchises for FTG Showrooms outside the franchisee's territory. They can also develop, use, and license rights to any trade names, trademarks, service marks, or copyrights not already licensed to the franchisee. Floors To Go can also conduct business under the FTG Marks through alternative marketing plans, systems, distribution methods, procedures, and different business formats at any locations inside or outside the franchisee's territory.
