What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Floors To Go Franchise Disclosure Document, the proposed franchise registration is on file or exempt in Wisconsin. Specifically, Exhibit D-16 outlines the Wisconsin Disclosure, emphasizing that the disclosure document contains a summary of certain material provisions of the franchise agreement and should be read carefully. It also states that registration does not constitute approval, recommendation, or endorsement by the Commissioner of Securities of the State of Wisconsin.

Furthermore, the Wisconsin Disclosure indicates that if the disclosure document is not delivered on time or contains false, incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading statements, it may constitute a violation of federal and state law, which should be reported to the Federal Trade Commission and the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions, Division of Securities, Franchise Registration.

Prospective Floors To Go franchisees in Wisconsin should carefully review the disclosure document and all related agreements, paying close attention to their rights and obligations. They should also be aware that the Wisconsin Fair Dealership Law may apply, and the Floors To Go Franchise Disclosure Document for use in Wisconsin will be amended to include provisions that are effective only to the extent that the jurisdictional requirements of the Wisconsin Fair Dealership Law are met.
