What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Floors To Go's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Floors To Go retains the right to approve signage used by its franchisees. Specifically, Floors To Go has the right to approve signs to ensure compliance with trademark and trade name requirements, including the use of required legends and symbols.

Floors To Go requires franchisees to use the name "Floors To Go" or other authorized names or logos on all display signs and decorations. This extends to advertising, carpet, floor covering samples, and other printed materials used on the premises. Franchisees are also required to include any legends, markings, and notices that Floors To Go reasonably requires, such as copyright and trademark symbols.

Furthermore, Floors To Go requires franchisees to use the name "Floors To Go" in their fictitious trade name and make it a permanent part of their exterior signage. If a franchisee chooses to develop an independent website, Floors To Go requires prior written approval of the internet domain name, home page addresses, hyperlinks, and other links used on the site.

If a franchisee uses a Floors To Go approved vendor for outdoor showroom signage, they can apply for a sign credit of up to $1,000 after installation by submitting invoices. However, franchisees must promptly furnish Floors To Go with photographs of any alterations made to the exterior signage.
