You must attend our annual convention.

We will bear the cost of your registration fee for your first convention, but you must pay all related travel, lodging and other personal expenses you incur.

You must also attend FTG's annual convention in subsequent years, in order to receive the full benefit of the FTG System, and we reserve the right to charge you a fee if you elect not to attend.

We will charge you a registration fee for your attendance at all subsequent annual conventions, and you must pay all related travel, lodging and other personal expenses that you incur during such conventions.

The annual conventions, voluntary training programs, and other elective conferences will be held in a location within the United States designated by FTG.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Floors To Go Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses when attending the annual convention. While Floors To Go covers the registration fee for the franchisee's first convention, the franchisee must pay for all related travel, lodging, and personal expenses.

For all subsequent annual conventions, Floors To Go charges a registration fee, and the franchisee remains responsible for covering all travel, lodging, and other personal expenses incurred during the event. Attendance at the annual convention is mandatory for franchisees to receive the full benefit of the Floors To Go system, and the company reserves the right to charge a fee if a franchisee chooses not to attend.

The annual conventions, along with voluntary training programs and other elective conferences, are held at a location within the United States that is designated by Floors To Go. This means franchisees need to budget not only for the registration fee and their time away from their business, but also for transportation, accommodation, and meals each year to comply with the franchise agreement.
