Does Floors To Go provide site selection assistance to its members?

Floors_To_Go Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

The FTG membership concept is intended for and directed towards the experienced owner/operator of an existing floor covering store, and accordingly FTG does not provide site selection, business financing, employee training, or management supervision before or after the execution of any FTG membership agreements. The FTG System competes with other national floor covering marketing and merchandising systems.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Floors To Go Franchise Disclosure Document, Floors To Go does not provide site selection assistance. The FDD states that the FTG membership concept is intended for experienced owners/operators of existing floor covering stores.

Because Floors To Go targets experienced owners, they do not offer services that would typically be offered to new franchisees. These services include site selection, business financing, employee training, or management supervision. This means that prospective franchisees are expected to independently identify and secure a suitable location for their Floors To Go showroom.

The lack of site selection assistance places the onus on the franchisee to evaluate factors such as location demographics, traffic patterns, competition, and lease terms. This could present a challenge for some franchisees, especially those who are less familiar with real estate selection. It is important for prospective franchisees to carefully consider this aspect and seek external expertise if needed.
