We may hold conferences or conventions from time to time to discuss matters such as sales techniques, product selection and costs to members, performance standards, advertising programs, new products and programs, and operational modifications and updates.
You must attend our annual convention.
We will bear the cost of your registration fee for your first convention, but you must pay all related travel, lodging and other personal expenses you incur.
You must also attend FTG's annual convention in subsequent years, in order to receive the full benefit of the FTG System, and we reserve the right to charge you a fee if you elect not to attend.
We will charge you a registration fee for your attendance at all subsequent annual conventions, and you must pay all related travel, lodging and other personal expenses that you incur during such conventions.
The annual conventions, voluntary training programs, and other elective conferences will be held in a location within the United States designated by FTG.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Floors To Go Franchise Disclosure Document, Floors To Go will cover the franchisee's registration fee for their first annual convention. However, the franchisee is responsible for all travel, lodging, and other personal expenses incurred while attending the convention.
Attendance at the annual convention is mandatory for Floors To Go franchisees. These conventions cover important topics such as sales techniques, product selection, performance standards, advertising programs, and operational updates. Franchisees must attend the annual convention each subsequent year to receive the full benefit of the Floors To Go system.
For all subsequent annual conventions after the first, the franchisee is responsible for paying the registration fee, in addition to their own travel, lodging, and personal expenses. Floors To Go reserves the right to charge a fee if a franchisee chooses not to attend future conventions. The conventions, training programs, and other conferences will be held at a location within the United States that is designated by Floors To Go.
