What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Floors To Go Franchise Disclosure Document, as part of the agreement, Floors To Go will provide specific items to convert a franchisee's existing showroom to a Floors To Go showroom. This includes providing and delivering the necessary racks, displays, and samples. Floors To Go will also provide a store design consultant to assist the franchisee in adapting the Floors To Go Showroom design package to their specific showroom. Floors To Go bears the expense for these items.

The FDD states that the estimated cost of this redesign ranges from $20,000 to $50,000 per showroom. The actual cost depends on the size of the showroom being converted. A significant benefit to the franchisee is that they are not required to repay any portion of the redesign cost, provided they remain a Floors To Go member for the entire original term of their agreement.

However, Floors To Go does not cover all tenant improvement items. Specifically, the company will not purchase items such as the installation of floor coverings in showrooms, furniture, or office equipment. This means the franchisee is responsible for these additional costs, which can add to the overall investment required to launch the Floors To Go showroom. Prospective franchisees should factor in these additional expenses when evaluating the financial feasibility of the franchise.
