What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to specific written instructions to maintain quality control. Fitstop requires franchisees to use all services, systems, procedures, and methods as instructed in writing to ensure adequate quality control of approved products, aligning with the Fitstop franchise system. Franchisees are also obligated to offer and provide only approved services as specified in the manuals, and promote these services in accordance with the franchise system, manuals, and any written directions provided by Fitstop.

Fitstop retains the right to modify approved products, designate new products as approved, or remove the approved status of existing products. Franchisees must implement these changes within 30 calendar days of receiving written notice from Fitstop. Furthermore, franchisees must comply with any pricing policies and guidelines that Fitstop reasonably communicates from time to time, including setting maximum prices for approved products or services.

These stipulations ensure that Fitstop maintains consistent standards across all franchise locations, protecting the brand's reputation and customer experience. By mandating adherence to written instructions and policies, Fitstop aims to control the quality of products and services offered, as well as the overall presentation and operation of each franchise. This level of control is typical in franchising, where consistency is key to brand recognition and customer loyalty.
