What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, any individual a franchisee wishes to appoint as an Authorized Instructor must participate in and successfully complete Fitstop's proprietary Instructor Training program, which is currently provided remotely. Additionally, the Authorized Instructor must attend all portions of the Initial On-Site Training that Fitstop provides to the franchisee and their personnel around the time of the franchise's opening.

The franchisee is responsible for all costs and expenses incurred by themselves and their personnel in connection with completing the Remote Training and Initial On-Site Training, including wages. Fitstop may also provide instructional training to Authorized Instructors consistent with the brand's standards and specifications, potentially charging a training fee for any instructor beyond the initial team.

Fitstop does not currently have a set training schedule but intends to provide Corporate Training on an as-needed basis after the franchisee completes introductory Remote Training and complies with pre-training conditions. Initial On-Site Training is expected to be provided on an as-needed basis to each franchisee and their initial Authorized Instructor team after the franchisee completes Corporate Training and satisfies all other pre-opening requirements. Fitstop expects to provide Initial On-Site Assistance around the time of the franchise's soft opening or in the week preceding it.

Failure to complete all required initial training to Fitstop's satisfaction may result in default and potential termination of the Franchise Agreement. This highlights the importance of ensuring all Authorized Instructors fully participate in and complete the required training programs to maintain compliance with the franchise agreement.
