What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, any personnel a franchisee wishes to designate as an Authorized Instructor must participate in and successfully complete Fitstop's proprietary training program for instructors, referred to as the "Instructor Training," before providing any fitness-related services at the Franchised Business.

The FDD also states that only Authorized Instructors can provide fitness training and certain other approved services to members and clientele. These instructors must conduct fitness training classes and other approved services in accordance with the Instructor Training Program, instructor pre-qualifications, and other System standards, specifications, methodologies, curricula, ongoing training materials, and techniques as identified during training or in the manuals.

Fitstop's standard franchise offering includes System Instructor Training, provided remotely via an online learning management system (LMS), for up to five individuals, including the franchisee or operating principal, before the business opens, without additional tuition or fees. The franchisee is responsible for ensuring their instructors meet these training requirements and for covering any associated costs, including wages, related to completing the training programs.
