What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Training Fee for additional training is based on Fitstop's then-current training fee at the time of the additional training. This fee applies when a franchisee requests or Fitstop determines that additional training is required beyond what is described in the agreement. The specific amount of the Training Fee is set forth and updated in Fitstop's Manuals, which Fitstop updates from time to time as they determine appropriate.
This means that the cost of additional training for Fitstop franchisees can vary and is subject to change. The franchisee will need to consult the most current version of the Manuals to determine the exact fee for any additional training they request or that Fitstop requires. This could include training for a new Franchise Operator or General Manager, or any other training deemed necessary by Fitstop.
Prospective Fitstop franchisees should be aware that these additional training costs are their responsibility. It is important to factor in potential expenses for ongoing training and to regularly check the Manuals for updates to the Training Fee schedule. Franchisees should also inquire about the typical frequency and types of additional training that may be required to better budget for these costs.
