You will be obligated to offer and sell any new or replacement products and/or services we designate, and you must participate in all local, regional and promotional program initiatives and campaigns adopted by us in which we require you to participate. We have the right to designate which of our franchisees may, or will be required to, participate in new product or service tests, new or modified product or service offerings and other programs and initiatives that we may, from time to time, develop. What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fitstop has broad authority to require franchisees to participate in various programs, initiatives, and campaigns. Specifically, Fitstop franchisees are obligated to participate in local, regional, and promotional program initiatives and campaigns adopted by Fitstop.

Fitstop also has the right to designate which franchisees must participate in new product or service tests, new or modified product or service offerings, and other programs and initiatives that Fitstop develops. If a franchisee is selected for participation, they must participate as required by Fitstop. The FDD states explicitly that there are no limits on Fitstop's rights to require franchisees to offer and sell new products or participate in these programs, initiatives, and campaigns.

This lack of limitations gives Fitstop significant control over the franchisee's business operations and marketing strategies. It also means that franchisees must be prepared to adapt to changes and new requirements implemented by Fitstop, even if they involve additional costs or changes to their existing business model. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider this aspect and discuss with Fitstop the types of programs and initiatives they might be expected to participate in and the potential costs involved.
