What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Fitstop Franchise Disclosure Document, Item 6 details various fees, including a Technology Fee, which indirectly relates to intellectual property. The Technology Fee is the then-current fee for any technology and related products/services Fitstop associates with its System.
Currently, the Technology Fee is 2% of the Gross Revenue generated by the Franchised Business over the preceding reporting period. Additionally, if applicable, there's an extra charge of $12 to $15 per month for a second and each additional System-associated email account provided to or requested by the franchisee.
Fitstop uses the Technology Fee to cover costs associated with technology developed for the System.
