What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training program includes Remote Training that you and any individual you wish to serve as a Designated Manager will have remote access to. This training is completed online via video instruction or another learning management system that Fitstop designates. Fitstop may use this system to monitor participation and progress, and/or test competency levels, if and as they determine appropriate.
This means that Fitstop reserves the right to test competency levels during the Remote Training, but it is not guaranteed. Whether or not Fitstop chooses to test competency levels is at their discretion.
As a prospective franchisee, it would be prudent to confirm with Fitstop whether competency testing is a standard part of the Remote Training program or under what circumstances such testing might be implemented. Understanding the evaluation methods used during training can help you and your team prepare effectively and meet Fitstop's standards.
