What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for all expenses incurred while attending Additional or Remedial Training. Fitstop may require franchisees and their Designated Managers to attend annual additional/refresher courses or remedial training if deemed necessary.
Fitstop may also require franchisees to pay a Training Fee for any Additional/Remedial Training that they and their employees attend. The current Training Fee is $500 per day per trainer. This fee is separate from the expenses incurred to attend the training.
This means that in addition to the training fee, a Fitstop franchisee will need to budget for travel, accommodation, wages, and any other costs associated with attending required training sessions. This could represent a significant and unexpected expense if remedial training is required due to a failure to meet Fitstop's standards.
