What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, all fitness training, classes, and other instruction must be performed by an individual who has completed the Instructor Training and meets all other criteria to serve as an Authorized Instructor. These criteria are detailed in the Manuals or otherwise provided in writing by Fitstop.

Fitstop will provide Instructor Training tuition-free for up to five prospective Authorized Instructors that the franchisee expects to be providing services when the Franchised Business opens. If a franchisee wants to replace or add personnel to serve as Authorized Instructors, they must notify Fitstop in writing, and the new personnel must complete the Instructor Training before providing any Approved Services. Fitstop may charge its then-current Training Fee for such Instructor Training, which will be provided via remote training or other methods.

It is the franchisee's responsibility to ensure that all instructors meet the specified criteria and receive the necessary training. The franchisee is also responsible for any Training Fees associated with additional or replacement instructors. Franchisees must also obtain and maintain all licenses and permits necessary for the operation of the Franchise and comply with all orders, laws, regulations, rules and directives of any federal, state, county or municipal authorities with regard to the Franchise.
