Who is required to attend Fitstop meetings, conferences, and annual conventions?

To assist you in managing the costs of the annual convention, you will remit a monthly contribution to the convention as described more fully below in this Agreement.

If you or your General Manager do not attend the annual convention, an amount equal to their attendance fee will be forfeited and you will be in material default of this Agreement.

  • ©2024 Fitstop USA, Inc. 4.8 You shall pay all traveling, living, compensation, or other expenses you, your General Manager and/or other personnel incur in connection with the initial training, supplementary trainings,

seminars, meetings, conferences and annual conventions. None of the fees, expenses, or charges associated with the initial training, supplementary trainings, seminars, meetings, conferences, and annual conventions are refundable.

4.9 You acknowledge that we own all proprietary rights in and to the information and methodology of our training, in its entirety, and that the training constitutes our confidential trade secrets. Without our prior written consent, you will not disclose the information or methodology of our training to any person, except to your employees solely for purposes of operating the Franchise. You shall not reprint or reproduce any information we may provide to you as part of any training, in whole or in part, for any purpose except in connection with instruction of your employees in the operation of the Franchise. You acknowledge that any training methodology or information we convey to you, your General Manager, or your employees will at all times be and remain our property.

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, both the franchisee and their General Manager are expected to attend the annual convention. If either the franchisee or the General Manager fails to attend the annual convention, an amount equal to their attendance fee will be forfeited, and the franchisee will be in material default of the Franchise Agreement.

The franchisee is responsible for covering all expenses related to traveling, living, compensation, and other costs incurred by themselves, their General Manager, and any other personnel in connection with initial training, supplementary training, seminars, meetings, conferences, and annual conventions. It is important to note that all fees, expenses, or charges associated with these events are non-refundable.

Fitstop also emphasizes the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of the training information and methodology. Franchisees are prohibited from disclosing this information to anyone except their employees for the sole purpose of operating the franchise. Reprinting or reproducing any training materials is also restricted without prior written consent from Fitstop.
