- 9.9.4 You acknowledge and agree that: (1) compliance with this section is at your sole cost and expense; (2) it is in the best interests of both parties that the Franchise be open for trade from the new Premises as soon as possible; and (3) subject to relevant laws, the new Premises are to be fitted out at your cost to conform with the then prevailing image and otherwise in accordance with this Section.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, in the event that relocation of the franchise is approved, it is in the best interest of both parties that the Fitstop franchise be open for trade from the new premises as soon as possible. The franchisee acknowledges and agrees to this condition.
This requirement ensures that the Fitstop franchisee minimizes any potential loss of revenue or disruption to their business operations during a relocation. By opening the new premises quickly, the franchisee can maintain continuity of service to their existing customer base and attract new customers in the new location.
However, the franchisee is solely responsible for all costs and expenses associated with compliance during the relocation. The new premises must also conform to Fitstop's prevailing image and standards at the franchisee's expense, subject to relevant laws.
