What is the purpose of Fitstop's Remote Training?

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Remote Training is a component of the initial training program for new franchisees and their teams. It is delivered online via video instruction or other learning management systems. Fitstop uses Remote Training to monitor participation and progress, and to test competency levels, if deemed appropriate.

Specifically, the Classroom Training hours may involve instruction provided by video or other digital technology while at Fitstop's designated corporate training location. Franchisees and any individual they wish to serve as a Designated Manager will have remote access to this training and must complete it online.

Instructional materials, including remote training modules and content, will be provided to franchisees and used as necessary during the Initial Training Program. The initial training program is subject to change without notice to reflect updates in the materials, methods, and manuals, as well as changes in personnel. The subjects taught and the time periods allocated for each subject may vary based on the experience of the people being trained.

Prospective Fitstop franchisees should note that they are responsible for all costs and expenses associated with completing the Remote Training, including personnel and trainee wages. Completing all required initial training to Fitstop's satisfaction is mandatory and failure to do so may result in default and potential termination of the Franchise Agreement.
