What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees and their designated managers must have remote access to and complete the Remote Training program. Fitstop uses this Remote Training to monitor participation and progress, and to test competency levels, if and as they determine appropriate.

This Remote Training is a component of Fitstop's initial training program. The initial training program also includes Classroom Training and Initial On-Site Training. The Classroom Training may involve instruction provided by video or other digital technology at Fitstop's corporate training location. The Initial On-Site Training is completed by the franchisee's initial management team and personnel involved in the initial operations of the business.

Fitstop may condition the franchisee's ability to attend Corporate Training and receive Initial On-Site Training on several pre-conditions. These include expending required amounts on marketing and pre-opening sales activities, establishing and providing access to an EFT Account, obtaining required insurance coverages, and providing completed copies of agreements and contracts attached to the Franchise Agreement.

Instructional materials, including components of the manuals, remote training modules/content (online), job aids, and checklists, will be provided and used as necessary throughout the Initial Training Program. The initial training program is subject to change without notice to reflect updates in the materials, methods and manuals, as well as changes in personnel. The subjects taught and the time periods allocated for each subject may vary based on the experience of the people being trained.
