What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, initial instructor training is provided to up to five prospective instructors tuition-free as part of the initial franchise fee. However, any replacement or new personnel that the franchisee wants to serve as an authorized instructor must be noticed to Fitstop in writing and complete the Instructor Training before providing any approved services.

Fitstop will provide this training via their then-current remote training or other methods they choose. The franchisee may be charged Fitstop's then-current training fee for such instructor training. The specific amount of this training fee is not detailed in this section, but it is subject to change and will be outlined in the manuals.

This means that while the initial franchise fee covers the training for a limited number of instructors, franchisees should budget for ongoing training expenses as they hire new staff or replace existing instructors. Franchisees should inquire about the current training fee for new instructors to accurately forecast these costs.
