What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the proprietary instructional materials provided to franchisees as part of the initial training program may include several components. These materials encompass the Manuals, remote training modules and content available online, job aids, and checklists. Fitstop will provide franchisees with one copy of these materials prior to or upon attendance at the Initial Training Program.
The FDD also mentions that the initial training program is subject to change without notice. These changes may reflect updates in the materials, methods, and Manuals, as well as changes in personnel. The topics taught and the time periods allocated for each subject may vary based on the experience of the people being trained.
Furthermore, the Operations Manual, a key part of the instructional materials, contains over 1,000 pages of digital and other content. The manual is confidential and proprietary, and franchisees must operate their Fitstop business in accordance with it. Franchisees are required to keep a copy of the Manual at their premises, and the master copy maintained at Fitstop's corporate headquarters will control in case of disputes. The FDD also provides a high-level overview of the remote training content and curriculum, including topics such as the Fitstop story, training methodology, leasing, site specifications, compliance, and project management.
