What This Means (2024 FDD)

Based on the 2024 Fitstop Franchise Disclosure Document, Fitstop will not provide franchisees with consultation related to employment practices. This means that Fitstop franchisees are responsible for making their own employment decisions without guidance from the franchisor.

This policy places the onus on the franchisee to ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations when hiring, managing, and terminating employees. It is important for prospective Fitstop franchisees to understand that they cannot rely on Fitstop for advice or support in this area.

Given this lack of support, prospective franchisees should carefully consider their own expertise in employment matters or budget for professional HR and legal advice. They should also inquire about resources Fitstop may offer to help franchisees stay informed about employment law changes and best practices, even if direct consultation is not provided. Understanding the scope of support—and its limitations—is crucial for assessing the risks and responsibilities of operating a Fitstop franchise.
