Is Fitstop obligated to maintain its website?

We will display the contact information of your Franchised Business on the website that we or our designee maintains to advertise and promote our brand, our Proprietary Marks and other Franchised Business locations, provided you follow the terms of your Franchise Agreement.
We will also have the right to discontinue operation of the Website at any time without notice to you.
We may require that you maintain and utilize a specific e-mail account in connection with the Franchised Business.
You may not establish or operate a website, web page, domain name, Internet address, blog, forum or email

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fitstop is not obligated to maintain its website. While Fitstop will display the contact information of a franchisee's location on its website, it has the right to discontinue operation of the website at any time without notice.
Fitstop may also make available a subpage on the website for franchisees to upload content to promote their specific location. However, Fitstop can cease making the subpage available at any time. Franchisees must get approval from Fitstop before making any changes to the content on their subpage.
Fitstop also retains control over online ordering and is solely responsible for its development. These stipulations give Fitstop significant control over its online presence and the franchisee's digital marketing options, while also allowing Fitstop to discontinue website operations without any obligation to franchisees.
