What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, any personnel providing fitness training or instruction must participate in and successfully complete Fitstop's proprietary training program for instructors, called the "Instructor Training," before providing services at the Franchised Business.

This means that as a Fitstop franchisee, you are responsible for ensuring that all fitness instructors you employ complete the Instructor Training program. This requirement is in place to maintain brand consistency and ensure that all instructors meet Fitstop's standards for providing fitness training.

Compliance with this requirement is crucial, as Section 11.4.8 states that fitness training, classes, and other instruction must only be performed by individuals who have completed the Instructor Training and meet all other criteria to serve as an Authorized Instructor. This ensures that all instructors meet the Instructor Criteria as set forth in the Manuals or otherwise in writing.
