What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, merchant payment processing costs are payable to their third-party Approved Supplier. These costs are the then-current amount charged by the Approved Supplier, estimated to be between 2% and 4% of the Gross Revenue generated by the Fitstop franchised business.

These fees are collected by the Current Billing/POS Provider and are payable immediately once collected. This means that Fitstop franchisees do not directly handle the payment processing fees but rather, the Current Billing/POS Provider collects the fees and then remits them to the Approved Supplier.

It is important for prospective Fitstop franchisees to understand that the merchant payment processing costs are an ongoing expense, directly tied to the Gross Revenue of their business. The actual percentage may vary within the 2% to 4% range, and it is subject to change based on the Approved Supplier's rates. Franchisees should confirm who the current Approved Supplier is and what their specific fee structure entails to accurately forecast this expense.
