What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the operations manual will be in English. It is the franchisee's responsibility to ensure that a representative fluent in English reviews and conveys the information in the manual to employees who do not speak English. This representative must also be available for any necessary translations during the operation of the franchise.

This means that if a franchisee or their employees are not fluent in English, they will need to arrange for translation services to understand and implement the operating procedures outlined in the Fitstop Manual(s). This could involve hiring a translator or utilizing a bilingual employee to interpret the manual and provide ongoing translation support.

Fitstop may, at its discretion and at a reasonable cost, make other manuals and materials relevant to the operation of the franchise available for use and adoption by the franchisee. However, the franchisee is responsible for the costs associated with translating the primary operations manual into other languages to ensure all employees can understand and follow the guidelines.
