What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must collect specific information from members as outlined in the manuals or in writing by Fitstop. This information must be collected only in the manner that Fitstop specifies in writing or in the manuals. Franchisees are prohibited from storing member information in external documents or databases outside of Fitstop's system.

Fitstop requires franchisees to provide all member information in a specified format at the end of each calendar month or within 24 hours of a written request from Fitstop. The FDD states that all member information is the property of Fitstop.

Fitstop may establish and maintain a member database to store this information. This allows Fitstop to have a centralized system for managing member data across all franchise locations. This data collection and reporting requirement ensures Fitstop maintains control over member information and can use it for marketing, analysis, and other business purposes.
