What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must maintain sufficient inventory levels to meet consumer demand. Specifically, franchisees must offer and sell all products that Fitstop requires and only those products authorized for the system. These products must be offered in the manner that Fitstop prescribes.

Fitstop franchisees cannot offer or sell any merchandise, products, or services that have not received prior written approval from Fitstop. The franchisee also cannot use the premises for any purpose other than operating the Fitstop franchise. Franchisees are prohibited from using or selling any products, materials, supplies, paper goods, uniforms, fixtures, furnishings, signs, or equipment that do not meet Fitstop's standards and specifications as a substitute for any required item designated by Fitstop in the manuals or in writing.

Fitstop retains the right to mandate that franchisees offer and sell additional goods or services as they may designate, without any limitations on this right. Conversely, franchisees must immediately cease using or offering any products or services that have been disapproved upon notification of their discontinuation. Franchisees are obligated to offer and sell all approved products designated by Fitstop, which may include privately branded or proprietary retail apparel, merchandise, or other retail products. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in a fine of up to $500 per day per occurrence for selling or offering disapproved products or services.

In the event that any product or service is prohibited by law, franchisees must immediately cease all offers, sales, and provisions of such products or services upon receiving written notice of the prohibition. This ensures compliance with legal requirements and protects both the franchisee and the Fitstop brand from potential legal repercussions.
