What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fitstop intends to provide Initial On-Site Assistance around the time of a franchisee's contemplated soft opening, or in the week preceding it. However, this is contingent upon the franchisee completing Corporate Training and demonstrating that all other pre-opening requirements under the Franchise Agreement have been satisfied.
Before Fitstop provides Initial On-Site Training, the franchisee must demonstrate that they have secured a Certificate of Occupancy for their premises and have taken all necessary steps to open the Franchised Business to the public. Fitstop typically requires the franchisee, their management, and initial staff of Authorized Instructors (the Initial Training Team) to complete Initial On-Site Training around the opening of the Franchised Business. Failure to complete all required initial training to Fitstop's satisfaction may result in default and potential termination of the Franchise Agreement.
Fitstop may also condition the provision of Initial On-Site Training on the franchisee expending required amounts on marketing and pre-opening sales activities, establishing access to their EFT Account, obtaining required insurance coverages, and providing completed copies of agreements and contracts attached to the Franchise Agreement. Therefore, franchisees should be prepared to meet these pre-conditions to ensure they receive the on-site training in a timely manner to facilitate their opening.
