What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Start-Up Equipment and Supplies package is mentioned as one of the items for which Fitstop expects to have Approved Suppliers. However, the specific contents of this package are not detailed in this section. Instead, the FDD indicates that further details about the Start-Up Equipment and Supplies Package are provided more fully in Item 8.
Prospective Fitstop franchisees should note that they may be required to purchase the Start-Up Equipment and Supplies Package from an Approved Supplier. Fitstop retains the right to modify the list of Approved Suppliers as deemed appropriate. This means the franchisee may have limited options regarding where they can source these essential start-up items.
To fully understand the financial commitment and operational requirements, a potential Fitstop franchisee should carefully review Item 7 of the FDD for estimated costs and Item 8 for approved suppliers. It would be prudent to ask Fitstop for a comprehensive list of what is included in the Start-Up Equipment and Supplies Package, along with the current list of Approved Suppliers and associated costs, to make an informed decision.
