What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training program includes remote training. The remote training is accessible online via video instruction or another learning management system. This system is used to monitor participation and progress, and to test competency levels, as Fitstop determines appropriate.
Instructional materials, including components of the manuals, remote training modules/content (online), job aids, and checklists, will be provided and used as necessary during the initial training program. The initial training program is subject to change without notice to reflect updates in the materials, methods, and manuals, as well as changes in personnel. The subjects taught and the time periods allocated for each subject may vary based on the experience of the people being trained.
The FDD also includes a chart providing a high-level overview of the Remote Training content and curriculum Fitstop expects to use with new franchisees as part of their Corporate Training. The topics covered in the remote training include 'WELCOME TO FITSTOP' which covers the academy, stages to open, Fitstop story, the 'why', and the product and training methodology. The remote training also includes 'DEVELOPMENT' which covers leasing, understanding site specifications, build, understanding Fitstop requirements, compliance, site obligations, and project management and understanding timelines.
