What is included in the estimated range of training-related costs and expenses for a Fitstop franchise?

Fitstop Franchise · 2024 FDD

Answer from 2024 FDD Document

This is the estimated range of costs that a new System franchisee can expect to incur in connection with attending the Corporate Training portion of our Initial Training Program at our designated corporate training location (currently located in California). The low end of this estimate assumes that you or your operating principal will be the only person attending the Corporate Training and that the franchisee resides close enough that no major flight costs will be incurred. The high end of this estimate assumes that you and possibly one (1) other person (either your Designated Manager and/or lead Authorized Instructor) will attend the Corporate Training and that the attendees' travel costs will include standard airfare and lodging at one (1) of the hotels that we recommend nearby the Corporate Training location.

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated range of training-related costs and expenses for a new franchisee attending the Corporate Training portion of the Initial Training Program at the designated corporate training location (currently in California) is between $1,000 and $7,500. These costs are to be paid to third-party providers for travel, lodging, meals, and local transportation.

The lower end of the estimate, $1,000, assumes that only the franchisee or their operating principal attends the training and resides close enough to the training location to avoid major flight costs. The higher end, $7,500, accounts for the franchisee and possibly one other person, such as a Designated Manager or lead Authorized Instructor, attending the training. This higher estimate includes standard airfare and lodging at one of the hotels recommended near the Corporate Training location.

Prospective Fitstop franchisees should consider these training-related costs when planning their initial investment. The actual amount will depend on the number of attendees and their distance from the training location. It is important to factor in potential travel and accommodation expenses to accurately budget for the initial setup of the franchise.
