We will schedule and hold an annual conference, as and when we deem advisable in our sole discretion, to discuss the current state of the System, improvements to the System, hold discussion forums for System franchisees and recognize certain franchisees.
In the event we schedule a conference, we may require you to attend for up to five (5) days each year.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Fitstop's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Fitstop may schedule and hold an annual conference to discuss the current state and improvements to the Fitstop system, host discussion forums, and recognize franchisees. If Fitstop schedules a conference, they may require franchisees to attend for up to five days each year.
As a Fitstop franchisee, this means you may be obligated to attend the annual conference if Fitstop deems it advisable. This mandatory attendance allows Fitstop to ensure all franchisees are aligned with the brand's current strategies, system improvements, and overall vision. It also provides a platform for franchisees to network and learn from each other's experiences.
However, attending the conference comes with costs. The FDD states that franchisees are responsible for all expenses related to the annual conference, including lodging, travel, meals, and any applicable attendance or registration fees. Therefore, prospective franchisees should factor these potential annual costs into their financial planning when considering a Fitstop franchise.
